Designing effective logos for specific businesses and target audiences is a professional skill. A good logo covers many bases of both 'form' and 'function.'
Form: Your logo needs to convey the nature of the business or organization. The form and appearance, the typeface, spacing, colours and shapes all need to come together to provide a sense of the business behind the logo to a target audience. Viewers should be able to glance and subconsciously categorize your logo for example: 'corporate professional' 'industrial' 'entertainment' 'fashion' 'hospitality' and/or 'elegant' 'timeless' 'modern.' And a good logo can do this without anyone knowing anything about the business.
Function: Your logo needs to be easily scalable to any size. It should look as good on a pen as it does on the side of a building. It should be able to be produced as a digital print made up of CMYK colours and a offset print using Pantone inks. The logo must look the same on your website using RGB colours and it should even reproduce clearly in black & white.

However you also do not need to spend ridiculous sums of money for an agency to 'tell you how it is' either. Sometimes brands need to be refreshed so they still bear the resemblance of their former identity. We can take your logo and redesign it in a modern style so it no longer looks like a brand made in Microsoft Publisher in 1995.
